  • Looking for my Bugarin family line
By nick12 | Mon, 2008-11-10 16:38

My name is Nick Perez and I am looking for any Bugarin roots from Zacatecas. My grand father Miguel Bugarin was born near Atolinga Zacatecas and he owned a rancho called La Noria. He died in 1952 in Atolinga. He was aproximately 42 years old.
Any leads will be greatly appreciated.

Looking for my Bugarin family line

Had you consulted Censo de México 1930? in the www.familysearch.org site
you can click in the record search pilot section,

there next click in "view all collections",
and once there scroll down to where it says
1930 Mexico Census,
click on it and
next click on "Browse the unindexed images"
there you will have it!
Please if any trouble ask again, to me you can write in spanish also, hasta luego.

Looking for my Bugarin family line

Nick,

I would suggest, looking for your grandfather Miguel's death record in Atolinga, Zacatecas. Try both the civil and parish (I strongly recommend the civil).

Then, I would look for the marriage record of your grandparents Miguiel and Felipa. Once again check both civil and parish.

Then, you can look for Miguel's birth record.

The death and marriage records, should narrow down the time frame and location of his birth and christening records.

The FHL (Family History Library) does have both Civil and Parish records for Atolinga, Zacatecas. So you can order the films into your local FHC (Family History Center).

I did notice that the FHL does not have any census records for Atolinga.

thanks,
Jonathan
