I thought that some of you might be very interested in this fact.

The DNA of a 12 year old child buried about 10,620 B.C. in western Montana http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v506/n7487/full/nature13025.html was uploaded to Gedmatch. Some of you that have uploaded your DNA to Gedmatch show to be a match to this child.

The study had already shown that the child was more closely related to Mexican Indians but how close is the real surprise.

The person that uploaded the DNA has a post on his site at http://www.fc.id.au/2014/09/clovis-anzick-1-dna-match-living-people.html

If you want to see if you match the Clovis Anzick-1 individual log in to Gedmatch then go to 'One-to-one' compare then put your Gedmatch account number in the Kit Number 1: field then put F999912 in the Kit Number 2: field then click on submit.

Armando

I made a mistake earlier with the child's age. The child was 1-2 years old and not 12 years old as I had written in the first post.

well why is this child refered to as clovis? and when i put that dna kit number in the one to many, the generation parts shown didn't make sense since this dna is supposedly over 10,000 years old

Clovis was a culture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clovis_culture

There were 115 red ochre-covered Clovis artefacts found near the child.

The child's remains are about 12,634 years old. They are from about 10,620 B.C.

No, the generations don't make sense. I never put much weight into the generational calculation though. IBS can throw calculations off. IBS is usually from shared ethnic ancestry since most IBS matches are from the same ethnicity.
