crossing records I would try the 1930 Mexican census. The images are
available online at: labs.familysearch.org

With any luck you might find his parents were still living in the area as
well as his siblings or other relatives. The city of Guanajuato has 364
pages of census records. You do have to register, but there is no charge.

Sanchez Perales in Guanajuato

Hi, I am presently indexing 1930 Census records for Guanajuato. Anyone can volunteer to do this work. It will become available to the entire world for free when the project is complete. And it will include all of Mexico for the 1930 Census. If anyone is interested visit an LDS Genealogy Library and you can be part of this important project. I have been doing indexing from my computer at home, after I downloaded the software.
