Alfonso Ruiz de Temiño y Dona Sancha Velasco

Randy,

The document reads as follows:

Information made at petition of friar Diego de Temino, dominican cleric, ("de sur el" appears to be an error in transcription, it means, "him from the south") and on behalf of his brother Bartolome de Temino y Banuelos, descendants of the honorable house of Temino, and consequently of well known nobility (hijos hidalgos). Monastery of Rodilla, July 10, 1561. Followed by writings regarding the founding of the primogeniture granted to Alonso Ruiz de Temiño and Doña Sancha Velasco his wife, by power of king Henry IV, in Segovia on december 21, 1465. Temino township of la Bureba, October 12, 1470. Genealogical information of Bartolome de Temino y Banuelos follows. Zacatecas, June 10, 1589. Certified copy granted in Mexico in the year 1709. M-66, pages 211-427.

What follows

What would be very interesting would be to read what follows as it should detail his ancestry.

What follows

I located the information in Americanists Funds Salazar y Castro Collection: Catalogue edited by Remedios Contreras, Real Academia de la Historia (Spain) edited by Remedios Contreras, Royal Academy of History (Spain). That was all the information in the book. I am now searching PARES for the actual document. If I find it I will share it.
