Check how the childrens of the Miramontes´ use the last name (Miramontes de Haro)both lastnames compused and was trasmitted 2 or 3 generations, and how some of the family use Viramontes instead of Miramontes.

Pedro Garcia de Miramontes

As best as I have been able to piece this together, this is a brother of Maria de Saucedo and son of Juan de Miramonte who was the first Miramontes immigrant from Spain in the late 1500s, who came as an assistant to the bishop of Michoacán.

There is reference to the land that was put into this capellania in some early reports to the Viceroy of Mexico that are documented in Bernardo Carlos Casas' Ciudad Amurallada book. There is later a limpieza de sangre document for Nicolas de Haro, Pedro's nephew, when he took benefit of the capellanía.
