Hey all,

I'm having problems with FamilySearch.org. Have they changed format or something? I'm looking up images and all I get are black pages. I thought it was the new side tool to zoom in/out. This page, for example, is all black. So is every other page I go on. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-15087-11664-10?cc=1410092&wc…

I thought I saw this topic posted here, but when I went to look again, I couldn't find it.

Help? :-(

Occasionally I have had the same problem, but I found that if I went back to the previous page or forward one page then to the page that was blank/black it was then viewable...

I also was experiencing a large gray area at the bottom of a page...again going back to the previous page, or forward to the next corrected that situation.

In check the page that you noted in your posting, it loaded but with a gray area at the bottom of the page, so I went back to the previous page and than to the one you cited and it completely loaded fine.

For me this was happening prior to the new format...At first I thought it was just my computer not loading the page/s fast enough, really don't know why it happens.

Laura,
When it first came out it looked all black and then a scale appeared that tells you that there's a new feature to family search, that with this scale, you can now see the entire page. This is a great feature. See if you can open it and use the scale. Rather than having to use the little hand to move the page around, you can now move the scale to view all of the page in a smaller scale and then by moving the scale, it enlarges the photo on the spot, depending on the +/-.

Thanks for this discovery!

Alicia

FamilySearch.org

Thanks, all.

I tried it again just now and am getting the images. Maybe the site was slow last night, or my connection was funky. Weird.

Family Search Printing

Happy Day to All,
Check out the Family Search printing option.  Once again we're able to print directly from the image.
YEA!!!
