Thank you all who contributed information on these families. I seem to have the good luck to also be working on these lines, including also Amaya and Rosales, clustered in the area of Tecolotlan, Autlan, and Ejutla in Jalisco. My question is for Marta Haros and the post dated 1/8/2012, in which you listed the son of Antonio Santa Ana and Feliciana Gomez Garcia-Contreras as Antonio: Baptized 24 May, 1723.
Was that in Tecolotlan? I actually have 9 other children for this couple--but can't locate that particular record. The other children I have are: Thomas: 27 March, 1731; Maria Theresa Januaria: 11 Oct, 1728; Francisca Ylaria 9 Feb, 1726; Joseph Maria: 14 Oct, 1718; Augustina 18 Sep 1715; Catarina 13 Dec, 1711; Pedro 12 July, 1713; Maria 15 Jan, 1721, and Cayetano: 21 Sept. 1723
Thank you for your help.

Santana and Gomes-Garcia, descendants

The Antonio SANTANA found by Marta Haro as baptized 24 May 1723 (I couldn't find this record in the entries for March or May 1723) must be from another year, or possibly from another family. Antonio SANTANA and Feliciana GOMES-GARSIA's son, Cayetano, was baptized 21 Sep 1723 (Tecolotlan, Image 388); this would leave only four months between these two birth dates. Cayetano later married Juana URIVE Ramires on 27 May 1750 (info from IGI).

There is an older brother, Antonio SANTANA Gomes-Garsia, who married Mariana DE LA PENA Castillo on 11 Feb 1730 in Tecolotlan, so this first Antonio would have to be born at least by 1710 or 1712. I made a unsuccessful quick search through Tecolotlan marriages to locate these records, but they are badly out of order.

Santa Ana's

Hello Deedra:

All of Antonio de Santa Ana and Feliciana Gómez were born in the Ranch "San José de los Guajes", that was of their property, it's know located in the municipality of Juchitlán.
It's correct Antonio's baptism date and they had another son named Miguel, he was born aprox. in 1708 but he's baptismal record wasn't in the church according to my uncle Gabriel. Miguel married twice, the first with Juana García de Alba and the second with Agustina del Castillo.

Antonio de Sta.Anna Y Gomez

Thank you for all of the help from so many NR members. It takes me time to absorb so much wonderful information and keep it organized--truthfully, I'm falling behind.
I still have been unable to locate the actual Baptism record for Antonio Sta. Anna-Gomez. If someone can send me the link or Image number it would be greatly appreciated.

I took George Fulton's suggestion and was searching through Matrimonial Information records in Ejutla, 1740-1799; Image 33, last night and am sure others will find it useful too--even though it is in poor condition (Marriages for Antonio de Sta Anna-Gomez).
