DeAnda and Romo families

(Ygn is the abbreviation for Ignacio. )
Hi Nora,
I am also working on my DeAnda family tree. My DeAnda family in the mid to late 1600's are from Teocaltiche, Jalisco, the 1700's from Aguascalientes, the late 1700's thru 1800's from Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco and Aguascalientes. I am also researching the Romo surname from Aguascalientes and Jalisco My GGGG grandfather was Joaquin Romo De Vivar born abt 1754 in (Salsipuedes) Lagos de Moreno Jalisco he was married to Maria Josefa Camarena. If you think your ancestors are from these areas I can give you more info. If anyone has info on Joaquin Romo's parents I would appreciate any help.

DeAnda and Romo families

Hello Aurora,

I just found a marriage of a Don Joseph Joaquin Romo de Vivar orignario y
vecino de Salsipuedes in 1774 which is two years before the first child of
your Joaquin but the wife is Maria Josepha Hernandes Pulida. She could still
be your ancsestor and had used Camarena for the baptisms of her children. It
starts at the bottom right in the following page
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-18563-10222-99?cc=1874591&wc…

De Anda Romo families

Thank you Armando.
I had found that marriage of Joaquin Romo with Maria Josefa Hernandes. Everything makes sense the dates, Salsipuedes location everything but Maria Josefa,s last name. I have looked to see if I could find the Camarena last name in the family. I cannot seem to make a connection to that name of Camarena.
Now that FamilySearch is working a bit better I will try again to go thru the Matrimonial Informaciones of 1774 perhaps I can find something. I just found 2 children listed under Joaquin and Ma Josefa Hernandes. I'll check their baptismal records and see what I find.

Muchas gracias
Aurora

Cual es su numbre?

Seguramente Ygn ha de ser la abreviatura de Ygnacio, que ahora se escribe Ignacio. Saludos,
