I am earnestly looking for information on the Galvan side of my family. I've been able to locate Gregorio Galvan b.1787 Ascientos, Aquascalientes, married to Juana Rosalia De La Trinidad Sanchez b.1784 and had a son Nestor b.1807. My question is, did his parent/s (Gregorio's) migrate from Spain or do I just need to start looking else where and where would that be? Any kind of help would be appreciated. I just feel like I'm at a road block.

Galvan Family Aquascalientes

There are quite a few Galvan in Jalisco and Guanajuato. You should search
these states as well as contiue to search Aguascalientes.

Families in Asientos

Many of the early families in Asientos came from the city of Aguascalientes, so this would be a good place to look, also.

Families in Asientos

In addition, I would add a good chunk came from Sierra de Pinos, Zacatecas which is up the road.
