Help requested with handwritting on Guanajuato record

I have found what may be a clue however I need help in interpreting handwritting on document found in Guanajuato, Mx, San Miguel de Allende, San Miguel Arcangel, 1790-1810, image 222 of 579 for Ma Vizta, 1798, 5 Abril, hija de Jose Alvarado and Ma Geromina Rodrigz, vezs de____. Any help is greatly appreciated as this may open another door for me. Thanks - Anita

Help requested with handwritting on Guanajuato record

My maternal side is all from Guanajuato. I concur with the earlier replies. Looks like Augustin Gonzalez. I did a search for barrios, districts or localidades and the following site lists this area. http://mexico.pueblosamerica.com/guanajuato/san-miguel-de-allende/

Anita,

It looks like an abbreviation for Agustin Gonzalez. Which, according to
Google Maps, is an actual place in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Anita - Your guess is as good as mine, I'm not very familiar with
Guanajuato.
Try taking a look Google maps to see which places may have records for this
place other than San Miguel Allende.
