Greetings everyone: I am looking for information about the mother of Mariana de Mendoza y Velasco. She was the wife of Capt. Francisco Tello de Lomas, whom she married on 19 March 1668 (no parents mentioned in the marriage record)

So far, her children’s records do not name grandparents. Her daughter (my 9th GGM) Gabriela Lorenza Tello de Lomas names her as Mendoza y Velasco in Gabriela’s marriage record (adding the “Velasco” part). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The word you are referring to is "Velóse" which refers to a ceremony which takes place after the actual marriage sacrament. "Consistía en unir con un manto a los cónyuges en la misa nupcial celebrada inmediatamente después del casamiento"
