Haciendas Agostederito/Pilotes in Aguascalientes, Mexico

What happened to the haciendas? What happened to the people? Where did they go?
Were the haciendas taken over by the government? Who owned the haciendas?
There is a great 1839 church census in the area that includes many ranches.
I am working on the Nieto family of the area. They lived on the ranch by the name of 'Los Bacieros'.

Thank you so much for the information and map sites. These places are mentioned in nearly all of the entries we search and it is wonderful to see where they are located. Do you have any idea the location of "La Estancilla", y "La Morenique" of Lope Ruis de Esparsa and Dona Francisca Gabai?

I have not been able to find anything that states that Hacienda Nueva de
Morcinique is the same one that was owned by Lope Ruiz de Esparza. I
suspect that they are one and the same though.
I can't find anything on La Estancilla at all. The word estancia is
synonymous with hacienda and there were a lot of places that were called La
Estancia and a few called La Estanzuela. Where specifically have you seen
"La Estancilla" mentioned?

after the revolution some of the land was given to the workers as ejidos.

Haciendas
La Morcinique is the correct spelling for La Morenique which might be what
is now called Hacienda Nueva de Morcinique

I have not been able to find anything that states that Hacienda Nueva de
