From your most recent posting, I have found a new branch of the very prolific and distinguished Covarrubias/Talamantes clan. The following entry from film 1722-1748 FHL Source Film 168608 has the information:
022 ignacio talamantes & juana maria de la concha / tlaltenango
Jacinto and Isabel had an additional hereunto unknown son named Francisco Talamantes who must have left Totatiche/Tlaltenango at an early age to work in the mines in Durango and Chihuahua. He had a son named Ygnacio born in the Real de Papigochi likely sometime in the 1690s and another named Francisco born in Parral, Chihuahua in 1697. Ygnacio returned to Totatiche to marry a great-grandaughter of Jacinto and Isabel named Juana Maria de la Concha.
It is likely that we have found yet another origin of the Chihuahua Talamantes clan, one of whom later was a founder of Los Angeles, in Tlaltenango.
