I have not been able to find more information after Jose Maria Escatel. Any help would be appreciated.

I found two more children by Roque and Silvestra, Feliciana married 1853 in Tepic, Nayarit, and Petronilo married 1857 in Tepic as well, plus Alejandra Escatel, daughter of Petronilo, christened 1875 in Tepic. So Nayarit might be another place to look for family with information. It also seems Silvestra remarried in 1838 Bolaños.

Encontre otros dos hijos de Roque y Silvestra, Feliciana casada en 1853 en Tepic, Nayarit, y Petronilo casado en 1857 en Tepic también, además de Alejandra Escatel, hija de Petronilo, bautizada en 1875 en Tepic. Tal vez Nayarit sea otro lugar dónde buscar familia con información. Al parecer, Silvestra se casó de nuevo en 1838 en Bolaños.

I found another way of Escatel because you have until 1812 the fist in Mexico ( Juana Lazara Escatel) but the only (soundex alike for Escatel before 1800) is Skatel in England..and I also tried Euskatel.. in spain..no chance but maybe in U.K.

about the 6th of August 1832 in San Jose Nuestra Senora De Guadalupe,
Bolaños, Jalisco, Mexico.
Have you checked the:

1164248as well as the marriage, on film 1164241? It might lead you to
additional clues.

como el matrimonio, el 1164241? Puede ser que te de pistas adicionales.

Martin, It looks like there is a large amount of Escatel
and Losano concentration in the area of Bolaños, Jalisco, México, where Roque
Escatel and María Muñoz Silbestra where married on 6 August
1832
. You might want to start there and work your way out to localities in the
vicinity or find the marriage of Petra Escatel (a sister of Roque) and Luis
Flores, possibly in San Pedro Apostol, Nombre De Dios, Durango, México,
Where a child of theirs was christened. The first suggestion seems to be a
more probable area to search.

Simple lists of names without locations or dates are not very useful for genealogical purposes. If you can provide more complete information, perhaps other members with knowledge of the specific locations in question can provide some guidance.

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, I realize that I need to be more specific in my inquiries. I am a "newbie" but I appreciate the guidenance.

I've researched most of the information that I do have through FamilySearch.org. I do have a good base and will continue to pursue any leads. Thank you everyone for your efforts and assistance. I have most of the information you referenced and have ordered a couple films/micro fiche to continue researching.
